Google-targeted UK collective claim over online display-advertising summary filed by CAT

( May 11, 2023, 15:40 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The summary of a planned collective claim against Google on behalf of UK publishers of websites and apps, over the company's digital advertising market operations, has been filed by the UK competition court. The claim alleges the tech giant has broken UK competition law in the online display-advertising market, and that thousands of websites and apps have lost out on advertising sales, to the value of up to 3.4 billion pounds. Former tech journalist Charles Arthur filed the claim at the UK’s Competition Appeal Tribunal.Notice attached....
