U.S. District Court: District of Minnesota - Federal Trade Commission v. Graco, Illinois Tool Works [FTC letter to judge]

( February 9, 2012, 21:19 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The Federal Trade Commission has submitted a letter to the court, asking for an abbreviated evidentiary hearing in its request for a preliminary injunction to prevent Graco from acquiring ITW Finishing. The FTC argues that an extended evidentiary hearing is unnecessary given the FTC's lower standard for a preliminary injunction. The FTC proposes a schedule that would end fact discovery February 29 and expert discovery March 8, and a hearing some time between March 19 and March 23.See letter below....
