Svitzer, Iskes to dissolve joint venture following Dutch investigation

( December 20, 2019, 10:15 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Towing companies Svitzer and Iskes have decided to dissolve their joint venture Port Towage Amsterdam following an investigation by Dutch competition authority ACM. The authority was concerned that, because of its structure, the JV was not acting independently from its parent companies. Svitzer has committed to buy PTA from Iskes and to not increase its rates for port-towing services above inflation levels for four years. ACM didn't establish a breach. Statement follows in Dutch....
