Polmass fined again for collusion on Polish animal-feed market

( February 8, 2021, 10:09 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Animal-feed maker Polmass has again been fined by Poland's competition authority, this time for carving up the market together with Agro-Netwerk Polska. UOKiK concluded that the companies divided the market for seven years, impeding farmers and sellers of milk substitutes for cattle from freely choosing their products. The authority therefore fined Polmass 2.5 million złoty (around $670,000). Agro-Netzwerk, the whistleblower, escaped a fine, UOKiK said. Polmass had already been fined more than 17 million złoty alongside Ekopolon last August, for reducing the free choice of products for cattle breeders and feed sellers by dividing up two markets.Statement follows (in Polish). ...
