French Competition Authority: French committee for interbank fees meets for first time

( February 6, 2012, 15:06 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: A committee in charge of defining the methodology to calculate interbank fees for cards in France as of 2015 met today for the first time. The current rates first put in place in October 2011 will expire in 2015. The group is headed by the national competition authority, who is also examining interbank fees for other payment methods, including transfers.
