US monthly trade deficit increased by $7.6 billion in September

( November 3, 2022, 15:07 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The US monthly international trade deficit increased from August's revised amount of $65.7 billion in September, with a 1.1 percent decrease in exports and a 1.5 percent increase in imports, according to the US Bureau of Economic Analysis and the US Census Bureau. The goods deficit increased by $6.6 billion to $92.7 billion, and the services surplus decreased by $1.0 billion to $19.5 billion, the BEA said. The goods and services deficit has increased by $125.6 billion, or 20.2 percent, since September 2021, according to the BEA.
