Australian competition watchdog to receive A$357 million in government budget

( May 9, 2023, 10:02 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Australia’s competition watchdog will receive A$356.986 million ($242.037 million) in funding from the Australian government over the coming year, following a budget announcement today. In figures accompanying the annual budget announcement, funding for the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission is expected to increase more than 5 percent from estimated actual funding for the previous year of around A$339.715 million.
