Japanese, US, EU chloroprene rubber faces extended antidumping duties in China

( May 9, 2023, 07:50 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: China's Ministry of Commerce has decided to extend antidumping measures imposed on chloroprene rubber imported from Japan, the US and the EU for a further five years, effective tomorrow, according to a final-review ruling published today by the ministry. The product is used mainly for manufacturing waterproof materials, adhesives, wire coating and heat-resistant products. A revocation of the antidumping measures would likely lead to a continuation or recurrence of dumping and injury to the domestic industry, the regulator said.
