Suits over Meta browser tracking should be heard by single federal judge in California, plaintiff says

( November 2, 2022, 21:21 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: A plaintiff suing Meta Platforms over its allegedly illegal in-app tracking of users should be part of a series of related individual suits in front of a federal judge, US District Judge Jon S. Tigar in Oakland, California, plaintiff Wayne Mitchel said in a court filing. "Based on the overlapping claims and classes asserted against a common defendant by Mitchell, Sijelmassi, and Kauffman, should the cases proceed before different judges, the parties believe there would be a risk of conflicting results as well as an unduly burdensome duplication of labor and expense on all parties, and for the Court," Mitchell said.See attached motion....
