Falke appeals German non-covered fixed costs compensation program at EU court

( July 12, 2021, 15:52 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Falke, which makes hosiery, sportswear, men's clothing and accessories, has appealed the European Commission's approval of Germany's umbrella program that compensates the non-covered fixed costs of companies affected by the pandemic. The company is arguing that the commission made an error in its assessment and that the required 30 percent companywide turnover loss to benefit from the aid excludes companies with multiple business areas. Falke argues that it's easier for companies with a single business area to benefit from the program.12.7.2021 EN Official Journal of the European Union C 278/70...
