GDPR breaches don't all prompt compensation right, but 'non-material' damage can do, EU's top court rules

The court clarified that the GDPR doesn’t set thresholds for the “seriousness” of damage needed to entitle a victim to compensation. It's up to national courts to assess each case, EU judges said.
