Hainan fire-protection association, 21 providers of testing services fined for price fixing

( February 1, 2021, 03:29 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The Hainan Fire Protection Association has been fined 400,000 yuan ($61,923) by the Hainan provincial Administration for Market Regulation for arranging for a total of 21 member companies to fix the price for fire safety technical-testing services. The 21 companies received fines equivalent to 1 percent of their respective revenues for 2018. The regulator started an investigation of the case in September 2019. The penalty decisions were dated Nov. 19, 2020.The statement follows and the notification forms are attached....
