Twitter appoints grievance officer in India, files transparency report

( July 12, 2021, 08:26 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Twitter has updated its website with the details of its resident grievance officer for users in India, an appointment required by the IT (Intermediary Guidelines) Rules 2021 that came into force at the end of May. It has also filed its first compliance report detailing complaints received, and action taken to disable access to content on the microblogging site.
