Falck Danmark fined for dominance abuse in ambulance-services market
( December 13, 2019, 10:47 GMT | Official Statement) -- Falck Danmark has been fined a record 30 million kroner (around $4.5 million) by the Copenhagen District Court, for abusing its dominant position in the ambulance-services market. The infringement ran from August 2014 to October 2015. In calculating the level of fine, the court considered the conduct to be a serious violation of competition law. But the sanction also reflects the fact that Falck Danmark cooperated during the probe and paid compensation to third parties, including its competitor BIOS.Statement follows in Danish....
