Twitter user arrested for allegedly disseminating fraudulent messages about voting

Douglass Mackey, aka Ricky Vaughn, used Twitter to spread images suggesting that voters could file ballots via social media or by texting to a mobile short code. “There is no place in public discourse for lies and misinformation to defraud citizens of their right to vote,” said Seth D.
