Ryanair challenges Lufthansa's EUR6 billion Covid injection at EU court

In its court filing, seen by MLex, Ryanair says the measure wasn't justified under the Covid-19 state aid rules because Lufthansa wasn’t in danger of going out of business. The European Commission allowed Germany to bolster its flag carrier beyond what was necessary, to the detriment of competition, Ryanair says.Ryanair has lodged an appeal at the EU General Court against approval of Germany’s massive 6 billion-euro recapitalization ($7.2 million) of Lufthansa, MLex has learned....
