Facebook hit with demand letter from 37 state attorneys general

( March 26, 2018, 16:18 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: A coalition of 37 US state attorneys have written to Facebook to demand more information about a privacy breach in which Cambridge Analytica may have accessed the data of as many as 50 million Facebook users. “These revelations raise many serious questions concerning Facebook’s policies and practices, and the processes in place to ensure they are followed,” the attorneys general said in the letter. They also requested an update about how Facebook will allow users to more easily control the privacy of their accounts. The coalition ranges from Southern and Western states such as Montana and Alabama represented by Republicans to Northeastern states such as Connecticut and New York represented by Democrats.Please see attached letter to Facebook from state attorneys general....
