Dutch law applies to follow-on air cargo damages actions, appeal court says

( July 7, 2021, 17:02 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Dutch law applies to follow-on damages claims brought by litigation vehicles Equilib Netherlands and Stichting Cartel Compensation (SCC) against airlines including BA, KLM and Lufthansa, the Amsterdam Court of Appeal has said. SCC's claims related to flights outside of those areas were, however, not sufficiently substantiated, the court said in the full text of its ruling today.
