Abbott files complaint against Alere for refusal to provide documents for merger review

By Flavia Fortes ( November 4, 2016, 19:25 GMT | Insight) -- Abbott Laboratories has filed a complaint against Alere in the Delaware Chancery Court alleging that the diagnostic device and monitoring company has refused to provide documents needed for the review of their proposed $5.8 billion merger.
