EU Parliament's energy committee to have Borys Budka as chair

( July 23, 2024, 10:36 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Polish lawmaker Boris Budka, of the European People's Party, has been elected today to chair the European Parliament's committee on industry, research and energy, known as ITRE. Tsvetelina Penkova (S&D, Bulgaria), Elena Donazzan (ECR, Italy), Giorgio Gori (S&D, Italy) and Yvan Verougstraete (Renew, Belgium) have been appointed as the committee's four vice chairs.
