An EU-funded browser plugin that allows a user to share their age verification certificate across websites may be a solution to avoid web users being flooded with age-verification requests as they become more common.The Italian privacy watchdog’s high-profile probe into OpenAI’s ChatGPT for potentially breaking privacy laws has also moved debate around age verification higher up the priority list — specifically how to avoid web users having to continually provide their credentials each time they enter a new site....
