( October 15, 2022, 22:19 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Australian supermarket operator Woolworths Group has notified the country's privacy regulator of a data breach suffered by its online shopping platform MyDeal. In a statement, the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner said it was made aware of the incident via the national Notifiable Data Breach system, which requires notification of a data breach likely to result in serious harm to individuals. The regulator will work with Woolworths to ensure compliance with the NDB program, the OAIC said.
