PetroChina files motion to dismiss investor class action

( May 8, 2014, 17:00 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Chinese oil and gas company PetroChina has filed a motion to dismiss a lawsuit filed by investors in which the company is accused of  issuing materially false and misleading statements to hide a culture of corruption. PetroChina say plaintiffs failed to prove alleged fraudulent intent by any of the defendants or to identify any portion of their financial statements which contained information which was innacurate or false, in accordance with their lawsuit.                    Read the full court document below in the PDF:...
