US court dismisses investor lawsuit against PetroChina

( August 3, 2015, 17:00 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: A federal judge in New York has granted PetroChina’s motion to dismiss a lawsuit filed by investors accusing the company of breaching securities laws by failing to disclose a corruption scandal affecting the oil giant and its state-owned parent, the China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC). The lawsuit sought to recover losses incurred by investors between April 26, 2012, to Dec. 17, 2013.
