Amazon loses bid to send Flex drivers' US privacy class action to arbitration

Amazon drivers are not bound by their arbitration agreement with Amazon because their privacy claims are outside the scope of their contract, the US Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit said in an order. Amazon will have to defend a proposed class action involving “Flex” delivery drivers after a US appeals court declined to send their privacy allegations to individual arbitration....
