The suspect, identified only by the surname “Kang,” stands accused of receiving aggregate bribes of 1.7 billion won ($1.5 million) between April 2006 and June 2016 for promising continuous contracts to iCoop's suppliers. He is also suspected of obtaining unfair benefits worth 630 million won by exaggerating the cost of marine products through adding ice when weighing them. iCoop operates about 180 stores nationwide selling fisheries products. ...
