Blueotter, EGEO fined for non-competition agreement, Portuguese watchdog says

( July 1, 2021, 17:08 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Blueotter and EGEO groups as well six managers and board members have been fined 2.9 million euros in total for a non-competition agreement concerning the provision of services to waste management systems in Portugal, the country's competition authority has said. The antitrust probe started in 2019 following a merger notification the regulator received. Blueotter notified the acquisition of an EGEO group unit, and the Preliminary Purchase and Sale Agreement established non-compete clauses, the authority said.Press release follows....
