Google app store deals with Activision, Riot Games, Supercell are per-se illegal, Epic Games, Match Group to argue at US trial

( April 19, 2023, 19:04 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Epic Games and Match Group will claim Google struck per-se illegal agreements with Activision Blizzard, Riot Games and Supercell to prevent them from launching competing app stores on Android, but they won't argue that other agreements under the tech giant's Games Velocity Program or Apps Velocity Program were horizontal restraints of trade that are illegal by their very nature at an upcoming US trial in California, However, Epic Games and Match Group reserve the right to argue that the program involved vertical restraints of trade, the two sides stipulated in a court filing.Court document attached....
