UK court approves Wood Group's deferred prosecution agreement over bribery offenses

The company entered the corporate-style plea deal after its subsidiary, Amec Foster Wheeler Energy, accepted responsibility for bribery offenses in multiple jurisdictions including Brazil, India, Malaysia, Nigeria and Saudi Arabia, between 1996 and 2014.An agreement by Wood Group to pay 103 million pounds ($120 million) as part of a deferred prosecution agreement with the UK's Serious Fraud Office was sealed today with formal approval by a London court....
