Low Taek Jho family files claim for NYC hotel in 1MDB case

( October 31, 2016, 23:32 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The father and brother of Low Taek Jho, a Malaysian suspect in the 1MDB misappropriation, are seeking a court ruling to permit them to intervene and file a claim to the Park Lane hotel in New York targeted by a forfeiture action by the US Department of Justice. Low Taek Jho's father, Low Hock Peng, and brother, Low Taek Szen, and two other individuals say they are beneficiaries of a trust that controls the hotel, but assert that the trust, a Swiss entity called Kendris, is unwilling to file a claim because it fears prosecution for money laundering.  Please see attached claim and attached motion to intervene....
