Private colleges can receive state aid, EU Court of Justice says

Latvia-based SIA Baltijas Starptautiskā Akadēmija, alongside the Stockholm School of Economics in Riga, had asked Latvia's Science Council for research-project funding, but their application was rejected because their business revenue was too high. The court has ruled that financing received from profit-making activities was irrelevant to the determination.The judgment is attached. The case numbers are C-164/21 and C-318/21....
