CADE Tribunal says Ipiranga can go forward with fuel price-cap policy

The company had filed a consultation request with the Administrative Council for Economic Defense, or CADE, asking whether its planned price-cap policy could be perceived as a violation of the Brazilian competition law. In a decision today, the Tribunal said the policy is allowable.
