Indicted healthcare executive seeks US DOJ materials linked to allegations of misconduct in wage-fixing case

( July 15, 2024, 02:57 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The US Department of Justice hasn't met its constitutional and discovery obligations concerning evidence collected during a case accusing healthcare executive Eduardo Lopez of wage fixing, according to a motion-to-compel filed in the US District of Nevada. In a separate motion-to-compel, the defense raised "serious allegations" of government misconduct when Federal Bureau of Investigation Special Agent Cody Fryxell interviewed Ryan Hee, another executive who had wage-fixing charges dismissed by the DOJ in November 2023. "Not only had the government admitted that Special Agent Fryxell was secretly livestreaming and recording the interview and then destroying the recording, but it was likely that Special Agent Fryxell had been acting at the direction of the investigating attorneys," the motion said.See document below....
