EFF, in amicus before US Supreme Court, says that Internet patent disputes are particularly time-sensitive

( September 7, 2016, 22:32 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The Electronic Frontier Foundation, an information technology non-profit, said that the defenses of laches, a legal doctrine governing timeliness of claims, is especially important in Internet-related disputes over patents because the Internet is particulary sensitive to the passage of time. The EFF filed its comments in an amicus brief supporting First Quality Baby Products in a Supreme Court appeal it is facing from SCA Hygiene, a Swedish maker of adult incontinence products.Please see attached amicus brief....
