CADE reaches leniency agreement with Camargo Corrêa over alleged cartel at Eletrobrás

( July 31, 2015, 20:57 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Brazil's antitrust agency and federal prosecutors in Paraná state have reached a leniency agreement with construction firm Construções e Comércio Camargo Corrêa and some of its executives over an alleged cartel at Eletrobrás Termonuclear. The cartel, which took place between 2013 and 2014, concerns contracts for construction work performed at the nuclear plant Angra 3. Several companies are allegedly involved in the cartel, including Construtora Norberto Odebrecht and Construtora Queiroz Galvão. In March, the regulator reached a similar pact with Setal Engenharia e Construções and SOG Óleo e Gás in order to obtain information about a cartel involving oil company Petrobras.Read the statement below (in Portuguese): ...
