SCA Hygiene seeks US Supreme Court appeal of patent infringement claim decision

( January 19, 2016, 23:32 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: SCA Hygiene, a Swedish maker of adult incontinence products, has asked the US Supreme Court to hear an appeal of a decision by the US Appeals Court for the Federal Circuit. SCA argued that the Federal Circuit's decision conflicts with a 2014 Supreme Court ruling that the defense of laches cannot be used to shorten the statute of limitations to bring a copyright infringment suit. SCA said that same analysis should apply to a patent infringement claim it filed against First Quality.Please see attached writ of certiorari....
