Amazon, ‘Big Five’ publishers accused of fixing e-book prices in US

The plaintiffs — a proposed class of individual purchasers of e-books — say the publishers eliminate price competition by coordinating with Amazon not to sell their products at lower prices through other online retailers, in terms which are effectively the same as controversial "most-favored nation" clauses.
