Pierburg, Xingfu Motorcycle hit with SAMR fines for failure to notify JV

( December 2, 2019, 03:47 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Pierburg Pump Technology and Shanghai Xingfu Motorcycle have been fined 350,000 yuan ($49,794) each by China’s State Administration for Market Regulation for failing to notify a joint venture between them, according to a penalty decision published by the regulator. The deal has met the prescribed notification threshold but it has no anticompetitive impact, the regulator said. The regulator opened a probe of the case in March this year.
