( December 23, 2011, 20:09 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: U.S. District Court Judge Susan Illston has denied defendants Brady and Giglio's discovery requests. Illston ruled that while the government does have an obligation to disclose exculpatory material, it "has no obligation to 'single out' particular pieces of exculpatory evidence." She was unpersuaded by the defendants' argument that the government "has an affirmative obligation to identify where in the documents it has produced such material exists."See order below....
