Bid-rigging light meter cartel probe closed in Mexico

( November 29, 2019, 18:01 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Comercializadora IUSA Medidores (IUSA), Industrias Unidas, IUSA GE, IUSA Medición and Medidores IUSA were acquitted in a Mexican bid-rigging cartel probe into light meters, according to a statement. The Federal Economic Competition Commission, or Cofece, said the case lacks evidence of collusion because the companies don’t compete as they belong to the same group and because they haven’t participated in the same bidding processes.
