French surveillance drones used during lockdown must be stopped, CNIL says

( January 14, 2021, 08:52 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: France's Commission Nationale de l'Informatique et des Libertés has sanctioned the interior ministry for having unlawfully used camera-equipped drones to monitor compliance with government measures to contain the Covid-19 pandemic.
