Rubizhevsky ordered to report to Otisville prison in Russian nuclear fuel kickback case

( March 15, 2018, 23:32 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Boris Rubizhevsky, a consultant who pleaded guilty to money laundering conspiracy for his role in a Russian nuclear fuel bribery and kickback scheme, has been ordered to report on March 19 to the Federal Correctional Institution in Otisville, New York, to begin a sentence of 12 months and one day.  Rubizhevsky had asked for an extension of time to report for incarceration, arguing that he believed he would be sent to a pre-detention facility in Brooklyn and was concerned about its security. US District Judge Theodore Chuang said Rubizhevsky had already been "provided extraordinary accommodations" and "must serve his sentence without further delay" before ordering him to report to Otisville, not Brooklyn.Order follows below:...
