Art dealer says 1MDB-related forfeiture references wrong Monet

( October 27, 2016, 22:32 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Davide Nahmad, a Monaco art dealer who has filed a claim on a Monet disputed in the 1MDB forfeiture case, said that a $2 million payment that the US Department of Justice says was made for Monet's "Grand Nympheas" was actually applied to a different Monet painting. Nahmad said that he and Low Taek Jho, a Malaysian who allegedly laundered 1MDB money, originally negotiated the sale of the Grand Nympheas but soon after altered the sales agreement to cover another Monet. Nahmad's answer to the complaint included four receipts which, he says, describes the transactions.Please see attached answer....
