Aramco unveils links to Embraer bribery, vows never to work with company again

( October 28, 2016, 13:23 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Saudi Aramco today unveiled its links to the Embraer bribery scandal. An internal investigation by Aramco revealed that a former employee received a bribe in return for facilitating the purchase for three aircraft from Embraer. Aramco said it took “appropriate measures” against the individual and referred the case to the Saudi authorities. It has also cooperated with international authorities investigating Embraer’s activities, it said.  Aramco said it has “ceased all future dealings” with the Brazilian aerospace conglomerate and is taking “appropriate legal measures” against the company.Full statement follows. ...
