CADE gives parties 30 days to comment on Hellman's settlement agreement in freight-forwarding cartel investigation

( July 30, 2015, 20:16 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The Brazilian competition authority has given 30 days for logistics companies and individuals allegedly involved in a cartel in international air and sea freight cargo to comment on a settlement agreement reached on July 14 with Hellman Worldwide Logistics. CADE has also scheduled to hear witnesses on behalf of logistics companies United Parcel Service and UPS SCS Transportes (Brasil), and to hear some individuals allegedly involved in the cartel.
