Kochava hit with amended privacy complaint by US Federal Trade Commission

( July 15, 2024, 15:40 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The US Federal Trade Commission has filed its second amended complaint against Kochava and subsidiary Collective Data Solutions LLC, adding new details about the data broker's “political audience targeting” and alleging that Kochava’s “privacy block” technology omits certain sensitive locations. "Although Kochava appears to have transferred at least part of its data broker business to CDS, Kochava remains in the online advertising marketplace and therefore maintains the means, ability, and incentive to resume its unlawful conduct," the FTC said in the new complaint.See attached document....
