Renault, Plug Power announce hydrogen JV plan

( January 12, 2021, 21:00 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Carmaker Renault and US hydrogen fuel-cell provider Plug Power have signed a memorandum of understanding to launch a 50-50 joint venture, the companies said in a joint statement. The JV, to be based in France, will aim to capture more than 30 percent of the EU’s market for fuel-cell powered light commercial vehicles.
