British renewables support scheme might incorporate non-price factors, UK government says

( April 17, 2023, 09:40 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Investors in renewable energy in England, Wales and Scotland might see the UK’s key public support scheme consider incorporating non-price factors when awarding Contracts for Difference, after the government opened a call for evidence on the plan. Non-price factors may include supply chain sustainability or the evaluation of effects on energy security, investments, skill gaps issues or innovation, the government said.
