Drugmakers fined $8 million by Shanghai regulator for price fixing, market allocation

( April 17, 2023, 06:03 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Two Chinese drugmakers were fined a combined 57 million yuan ($8.3 million) by the Shanghai antitrust regulator for price fixing and market allocation involving the sale of fluorouracil injections. Shanghai Xudong Haipu Pharmaceutical and Tianjin Tianyao Pharmaceuticals Technology each received a fine equivalent to 3 percent of their respective 2020 Chinese revenue, the regulator said in the penalty decisions posted on its website.
