Aveng gets immunity in South African construction-cartel probe

( October 27, 2016, 13:57 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: South Africa’s Competition Tribunal has confirmed a consent agreement that will give construction company Aveng immunity from an administrative penalty as the country’s Competition Commission investigates an alleged bid-rigging cartel. Aveng was the first company to apply for immunity when the commission began a fast-track probe in February 2011.
